PLAY GOLF AT CABARLAH            GOLF CLUB

The Annual General Meeting and Special General Meeting,

Due to our Audit not being completed, as yet, by our Auditors and the fact we have had so many Committee members away recently, the AGM is moved to Sunday the 30 November 2025 commencing at 9.00am at the Clubhouse.

This years AGM is particularly important to attend as we will also conducting a Special Resolution within the AGM to present the following (so far) to the members; including;

• Election of new Committee members;

• Proposed new fees for 2026/27;

• Proposed renumeration for Committee members and machinery endorsed mowing volunteers; and very importantly;

• An amended Club Constitution.

A final draft of the constitution has been sent out by email. The constitution is now based on the Office of Fair Trading (Department of Justice) Qld Not For Profit constitutional template, and includes new member categories, dealing with grievances and updated financial matters.  If you notice something is now missing from the old constitution or something is new and has ben added, it is most probably by the direction of the Office of Fair Trading.

Presidents Day will commence immediately following the AGM. This will include a shotgun start no competition fee two person Ambrose, meals and drinks and meat trays again this year for prizes.

One final note, as your three-year gate passes are now beginning to expire, please email Brendan Dyer, our Secretary, at brendan.dyer@tr.qld.gov.au at least four weeks prior to expiry so we can organise a replacement pass.  

Please save Sunday 30 November this year to attend the AGM and help make a real difference to your Club.

Borneo Barracks Golf Club Christmas Breakup

This year the club Christmas Breakup day is Sunday 14th December.

This is a members only game and as per the Fixtures Book, the game is a two person Ambrose and lunch is provided.
