SATURDAY 10TH – 4 Person Ambrose Results

Saturday was a special day as we came together to celebrate Gary Smalls retirement, having been a member of the PGA for over 50yrs and our resident Professional at Cabarlah / Borneo Barracks Golf Club for over 27yrs.

The 4 Person Ambrose was well attended, and some very good scores across the field.

The winners with a 53 5/8 nett (60) were W, C, J Aitken and B Brooks-Vievers, ahead of Runners Up 54 nett (64) T Wright, B Foot, N and C Stuart. Third place went to G Trussell, J Davies, C Boyle and B Goulding with a 54 1/4 (63).

Well done to all who attended the golf and function at Highfields Tavern, it was a great day and much appreciated by Gary and his family.

SUNDAY 11TH – Single Stroke Results

Today’s Single Stroke Comp was won by D Thompson with a cracking round of 64 nett (83), ahead of second placed J Loury with 71 nett (100), after c/b.

Run down

A number of matches were also played in the Hustlers Cup as well today, congratulations to B Fagg, C Hill, N Hoger and M Hancock all progressing to the second round. A reminder that matches are to be completed within 2 weeks for each round.

A Pienaar also won his way through to the A Grade Matchplay Final getting up over R Backhouse 3 and 2, well done Andrew. Good luck to Nathan and Andrew who are set to play the final over 36 holes in the next week or 2.
