Friday 1st September 4BBB Mixed Stableford

Today Friday 1st September, Cabarlah GC held a Purple Day raising money and awareness of Pancreatic Cancer.

There was a big turn out with players as far away as Chinchilla, Dalby etc visiting us for the day.

Big thanks to Janelle and Petae who organised the day, plus a host of others who helped with lunch, served at the bar etc etc.

A guest Dr who works in the field of Pancreatic Cancer research and treatment gave us a talk on the subject, which was very informative.

 

Winners today for the 4BBB Mixed Stableford were

2nd were B. Northwood and J. Kuhle with 43

3rd were B. Bargenquast and L. Didsman with 42

Prizes for best dressed went to a couple of gents with Purple Santa pants 😊

Five Ladies also attended the Warwick Ladies Open Day with Paula Heelan collecting the Best Net in her Division with a score of 69 and Petae Frazer collected the Best Stableford score in her Division with a score of 36 points. This gave Cabarlah the maximum 9 points for the day in the Open Day Zone Pennants.  With one game to play Cabarlah is in the lead with 57 points followed by City on 53 points.  The final game is to be held at Gatton on Wednesday 13th September.
